Cadaqués is a medieval village; enjoy the labyrinthine streets of the old town. At the top of the town is the church of Sta. Maria from where we will have the best views of Cadaques. There are a wide variety of buildings and about 8 sculptures around the town in honor of important artists and intellectuals for the municipality.
Cadaqués museum is dedicated to Salvador Dalí and it holds temporary exhibitions about the painter’s biography and works of art.
The family of surrealist painter Salvador Dalihas a summer residence in town and later settled in PORTLLIGAT Dali, one of the “Calas” of Cadaqués. Cadaqués also attracted many renowned figures as Federico García Lorca, Eugenio D’Ors who wrote about his summer stays in the village, Pablo Picasso, Marcel Duchamp and Joan Miro.

In Roses you can tour the old town and the walkway next to the water.
Santa Margarida Beach is the most touristic area of Roses, a beautiful sandy beach that runs through the town.
