The village has a sandy beach with free parking area.It also counts with access for disabled.
The sandy beach has many amenities and activities including windsurfing, kayaking, paddle surfing (surf or paddle) and snorkeling. It is a wide beach with a playground on the sand and calm waters.
Walking from El Port de la Selva you will find some of the best beaches on the Catalan coast; you’ll appreciate the quality of its waters and its surroundings, perfect for practicing any maritime activity.
From the village you can walk towards Llança, a nice walking area to the lighthouse. It is a well sign posted road, about 3km, finding many small spots to swim in stone beaches “calas”. There are great views of the coast and several areas to sit and enjoy the scenery.
Leaving the village towards the Cabo de Creus, you pass several beaches and bathing areas, with Pas Beach and Cala Tamariua as some of the hightlights. These stone “calas” are crystal clear, highly recommended for the practice of snorkeling. You can drive to Cala Tamariua, or enjoy a 30 minute walk.
Path that runs through the Cap de Creus Natural Park. It has many slopes on the terrain and as it wanders into nature you discover the typical Mediterranean vegetation. You can reach bathing areas you could see only by boat, the road can be traveled in 30 minutes to 1 hour.
